Drilling and splitting rock for a backyard basement using our hydraulic rock breaker.
Although explosives blasting could be used on this occasion, the option of not using explosive blasting was preferred by the owner for this particular rock removal job.
The basement excavation was adjacent to a school playground in the rear yard of a heritage listed redevelopment.
Drilling & splitting works were succesfully completed working in conjunction with an excavator with a rock breaker to quicken the completion of the project
